A Word From Our Pastor

You’re Invited to Visit Us

At Maranatha Baptist Church, we exist because of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or looking for a church home, you’ll find a warm, welcoming family here.

Under the leadership of Pastor Joey McNally, our congregation gathers around the Word of God to grow in grace and to share the hope of Christ with our neighbors here in Clarkston and beyond.

We’d love to meet you on a Sunday morning — come as you are, sit anywhere, and stay as long as you’d like. There’s a place for your whole family here.

Our Story

A Church for Clarkston

Maranatha Baptist Church is a gospel-centered, family-friendly church serving Clarkston and the surrounding Oakland County communities.

Centered on the Gospel

Maranatha Baptist Church exists because of the gospel of Jesus Christ. His miraculous coming, brutal suffering, and victorious resurrection are the heart of everything we sing, pray, and preach.

What We Believe

Built Around Families

Every generation has a place to grow here — from our youngest in Awana to teens, college & career, men, women, and senior saints. We want the whole family worshiping together and rooted in God's Word.

Reaching the World

From our neighborhood here in Clarkston to the ends of the earth, we are committed to sharing the hope of Christ — through faithful preaching at home and partnership with missionaries around the world.

Our Ministries

There’s a place for everyone at Maranatha Baptist Church.

Awana

A weekly Wednesday-night program where kids learn Scripture, play games, and grow in faith through Bible-centered clubs.

Teen Group

A place for students to wrestle with the Word, build real friendships, and follow Christ through the teen years.

College & Career

A community for young adults navigating school, career, and life — anchored in Scripture and shaped by friendship.

Men's Bible Study

Iron sharpens iron. Men of every season gather to study Scripture, pray, and encourage one another to walk faithfully.

Women & Teens

Women and teen girls grow together through the Word, mentoring, and friendships that span generations.

Deaf Ministry

We are committed to making the gospel accessible — providing interpretation and fellowship for the Deaf community.

Missions & Outreach

We partner with missionaries near and far — praying, giving, and sending to advance the gospel where Christ is not yet known.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

— John 3:16
